The thought has been on my mind for awhile to relaunch Yirmumah on a fresh and clean url, a totally clean slate. I was lacking the time in my work schedule for a very long time, but now I’m back it. A big part of the idea was just how cool Comicpress for Wordpress has been for updating comics, and how awesome Tyler Martin has made it. I was using Wordpress for the Yirmumah comic way back in 2003, and people thought I was nuts/stupid for using a blog engine as my archive or main site, but I could see back then it was the way of the future…. but alas all my old sites are put together much like a Road Warrior mobile or the Millennium Falcon, very cluttered and mashed up behind the scenes, duct tape holding lines of code together. A proverbial clusterfuck of five years worth of files. I’ve learned a lot over the years and fresh start seems like a good idea to me.

Update Schedule: Is as I damn well please… but I’m aiming for M-W-F to start.

I’m not doing any outside promotion other than here on the site and my personal blog. Seriously, if you’re ever having one of those shitty days, shitty weeks or months, years… don’t kill yourself or someone else, don’t load up the wagon full of guns and baseball bats to go take out your bosses who just gave you the pink slip, don’t murder someone at the gas pumps fighting over 7 dollar a gallon gasoline….. just think of that cute little bunny, gleefully speaking the word FUCK.

Because we all are.

So, what seems like ages ago, in 2006, Keenspot announced at San Diego Comicon, on a big screen that featured Superman vs. Jesus, that Yirmumah had moved to Keenspot. Unfortunately for Yirmumah and Keenspot that was the same San Diego Comicon where I had just pitched Hero By Night and ended up winning Comic Book Challenge…. which put Yirmumah on fumes, and then on hiatus as I was busy writing a love letter in comic book form to my heroes.

Fast forward two years later, I’m sort of out of that job and brought Yirmumah back on a new URL, a clean slate, just having fun again, and I had forgotten we were once on Keenspot… albeit briefly. So, they’ve welcomed me back with open arms, and I appreciate it. Of course, Keenspot doesn’t NEED Yirmumah, they have a bunch of long running comics there that you should check out, and a bunch of really talented cartoonists.

They’ve thrown me right into the newsbox over the weekend, so to any new people checking us out here, welcome, and I ask you kindly to bookmark us and check back often for random entertainment… or possibly llamas setting things on fire. Which I guess could be considered a form of entertainment, quite possibly a whole new genre or medium.
