It’s true. I totally missed yesterday’s comic update. My official excuse is that I had a unplanned trip to an attorney pop up so I could finally sign over my old house to it’s new owners. That place was TOTALLY CURSED, so i’m glad to be rid of it.
To make up for the lack of strip yesterday, I’ll have one posted this Saturday. How’s that for service?
I’ve had some people ask me about t-shirts and buying stuff, and I’d love to “monetize” this comic again… I just kinda lack the time I need to do everything I’d like to be doing at the moment. At one point around 2004-2006 this comic was my sole income before I totally sold myself out to Hollywood. I realize that ever since that whole debacle, I’m back to working on 3 or 4 projects at once as my “real job”, but I can’t really complain because It’s not like I’m building bridges or doing something really physically “hard” for work. I count myself pretty damn lucky. All that being said, I think I like the idea of building Yirmumah into my REAL job again. To do that, I’ll need to start treating it like a real job again instead of just a side thing I do for therapy.
Thanks for the warm welcome back. I guess you can do your part by linking here and letting your online pals know. I totally understand that you might only want to do that when the strips don’t suck.

So, what seems like ages ago, in 2006, Keenspot announced at San Diego Comicon, on a big screen that featured Superman vs. Jesus, that Yirmumah had moved to Keenspot. Unfortunately for Yirmumah and Keenspot that was the same San Diego Comicon where I had just pitched Hero By Night and ended up winning Comic Book Challenge…. which put Yirmumah on fumes, and then on hiatus as I was busy writing a love letter in comic book form to my heroes.
Fast forward two years later, I’m sort of out of that job and brought Yirmumah back on a new URL, a clean slate, just having fun again, and I had forgotten we were once on Keenspot… albeit briefly. So, they’ve welcomed me back with open arms, and I appreciate it. Of course, Keenspot doesn’t NEED Yirmumah, they have a bunch of long running comics there that you should check out, and a bunch of really talented cartoonists.
They’ve thrown me right into the newsbox over the weekend, so to any new people checking us out here, welcome, and I ask you kindly to bookmark us and check back often for random entertainment… or possibly llamas setting things on fire. Which I guess could be considered a form of entertainment, quite possibly a whole new genre or medium.
